Internship Details
Position: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hawaiian Falls Summer Camp Programs. This position will oversee and manage the Day Camp Counselors and camp daily schedule. Other responsibilities include evaluation of camp staff, organization of activities, interacting with parents/guardians of campers, camper safety, conflict resolution, and more.
Reports to: The Summer Camp Director will report to the Park Director and/or Duty Manager if needed.

Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the development and management of the Splash Camp program
- Seek and analyze input from youth, families, and staff regarding the quality, safety, and enjoyment of the program and staff
- Understand and enjoy working with children
- Implement crisis and risk management procedures
- Implement human resource management practices to train and evaluate staff
- Schedule staff to ensure policies and standards of Hawaiian Falls supervision is being met
- Ability to give clear direction and enforce expectations

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Preferred 2 years experience working with children in a program setting
- Experience in program planning and delivery of programs to youth is desirable
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to take initiative and go above and beyond to further better the program
- Effective problem resolution skills
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
